Notes for 2027
- Two full moons in the Tamil month of Aadi: 18 July and 17 August 2027 both fall in Aadi.
- Karthigai Pournami (12–13 December 2027) falls around Karthigai Deepam 2027, whose date is still disputed between 11 and 12 December. See Karthigai Deepam 2027.
- Chithirai Pournami (20–21 April 2027) is traditionally one of the busiest Girivalam nights.
